Am trying to see if RiscCAD will run under VA. Most of the functions work, the absence of a middle mouse button is a pain, but is overcome when using a mini scroll wheel mouse; then all seems fine.
However, if I try to run the app without using the mini mouse and want to simply use the touchpad (Acer TravelMate 4050), the left-click & drag function doesnt work. Neither on the down-click not the up-click.
1. Can this be overcome as it is a critical part of the app's functionality?
2. Is this a VA or RiscCAD problem?
Many thanks
Peter

It could be that the touchpad is incorrectly seing the start of the drag as another click - and is ending the drag before it's even started. See if you can re-configure the touchpad so that pressing on it is not returned as a click.

I have emailed Peter privately.
RiscCAD works perfectly under VARPC, as this is the environment now used to develop the software.
RiscCAD users can also email me direct at david.buck@freeuk.com or visit the RiscCAD website for technical support.
