Hi all,
Has anyone managed to get the New-Century Theme "Infinity" working on VA RISC OS Adjust 4.39
I put it into my Resources direrctory and in my Boot directory, the only parts that change are the boot icon, task bar and slider bar.
If I double click the app. the SparkFS icons also change to the new theme.
Regards
Jim

I've never heard of it. Where did it come from? What's it supposed to do?

Hi Aaron,
Infinity is a new RISC OS theme released by New-Century.org.uk it changes the look of the RISC OS window tool sprites and iconsprites. On their website it shows a screenshot of nthe theme on RISC OS Adjust, but I am unable to get it working properly.
I installed it on my SA RiscPC and it works perfectly.

Have you asked the chaps at new-century.org.uk if they are aware of any problems that could cause what you are seeing?
Have you made sure that ROM Sprites are not protected in RISC OS?

Yes, I am waiting for a reply.
I have now unchecked the Protect ROM sprites and the theme works fine.
Thanks very much for your help.

That's OK. The option to protect the ROM sprites, although very useful, can cause problems with themes that replace the default RISC OS sprites.
I would have expected the instructions supplied with the theme to have included this information. it might be worth checking it again just in case. If it doesn't it might be worth dropping them an e-mail as it will no doubt cause problems for others at some point.
