I'm new here. Considering VA5000 on a laptop.

Could I run Pluto/ANT and do my emailing all within VA?

No, sorry VA5000 has no network access and so you
can't send/receive e-mails from RISC OS.

But it must have network capabilities, with RPC harddrive access etc on the VA iconbar.
Do you mean TCP/IP? How hard is that to do, I mean is it possible?

HostFS lets you get at the windows filesystem. This has a network protocol to let you access files 'over the network' and so HostFS can also access these files.

There is no generic TCP/IP access in VA yet. How hard is it? I don't know as I haven't looked at it. Someone did start a replacement Internet module and it does work a little but he's busy on other projects just now.
