From discussions on the Vantage mailing list, I gather that the latest version (1.10) won't run on VA because it now has a copy protection mechanism. This is (AIUI) based on hardware characteristics of the machine it runs on, which I assume that VA doesn't deal with correctly.

Is there any chance that this could be worked on? Vantage is one of the apps that keeps me using RISC OS and it would be great if VA ran it.

We have been in contact with Cerilica about this but currently we do not have a timescale for a solution, sorry.
