I've just succeeded in getting a copy of FontDir Pro from LookSystems running on VRPC, following the instructions for Sibelius.

I couldn't get the app to run on HostFS, I think because some copy protection prevents it from running from anywhere other than ADFS.

So I created an IDE partition and moved FontDir in there. Bingo!

P.S. This is in the spirit of "one copy on desktop / one copy on laptop" not being piracy, IYSWIM. (Er, better get clarification on this...)

I believe that Adrian has found what was causing the problem
with FontDIR and it was indeed a HostFS issue.
