Hi,
How can I set about getting VRPC to run automatically on PC startup?
I tried adding a shortcut to the Windows Startup folder but VRPC doesn't seem to like this as it seems to get run before the machine has really finished booting.
Is there any way to introduce a short delay to give the machine and various other programs time to finish loading before starting VRPC?
Cheers!

R-Comp supply their RISC Cubes set up like this - so that one of the users acounts at the Windows log in screen is called RISC OS, and selecting this user account makes VRPC start up. If you ask nicely they might explain how they do it.

I suspect they won't tell me exactly how they do it, but you've given me a idea anyway.
Thanks.

Hi!
I'm new to VARPC-Adjust and am busily browsing through the Forum topics.
Did you ever suss out how to go into VA directly from Boot. If so, would you be prepared to share your knowledge, 'cos I'd like to do the same.
Regards from New Zealand.

I never did get it to work properly.
However, as Aaron suggested, you could setup another user account and call it (for example) 'Acorn'.
Then try adding VRPC to the startup folder of that account.
See if that works.
Cheers!
