Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help. I've just put a new wireless network card in my computer and VRPC failed to load (with an error saying it wants to send information to MS).
So, in retrospect, given the copy protection, I guessed that wasn't surprising, but quite annoying since Virtual Acorn are only open during office hours and it's the beginning of the weekend :(
Anyway, to solve the problem I removed and uninstalled the network card... but VRPC still wont start, even after a re-install. Grrr! :x I can attach the Windows error report if anyone thinks it'll help.
Adam

You haven't provided any where near enough info for me to know what's happened. E-mail me enclosing the full details from the error report.

Well, yes I know, there's a couple of reasons for that...
1) The actual MS error box is entirely standard and doesn't give any useful information at all - unless I'd included the whole massive error log.
2) I didn't honestly expect any replies before Monday!
Anyway, since last night I've been doing some pretty much random installing and uninstalling of the network card and VA and now the error box doesn't appear :) (only the enter-registration-key window)
I'll email you direct,
Adam

For the sake of future searchers...
I phoned VA and it turned out that VRPC requires sound to be working in Windows before it will work. (I'd removed my PCI soundcard to make way for the wireless network card.)
Thanks,
Adam
