I have recently installed RISC OS Select 6.06 on my fully updated Virtual RPC-Adjust. It works well but for two niggles.
1 The clock in the VA now constantly loses time and requires an hourly update.
2 Previously I was able to have a 1280 x 1024 x 32k colour display, now I am limited to 256 colours at the same resolution.
I don't discount the probability that I have missed a vital instruction but I would appreciate some help/advice.
Thanks

The clock jumping would indicate that VRPC is detecting the CPU speed on your PC wrongly. You can set this manually - or since this fault was fixed yonks agao get the updates from our website.
8Mb of VRAM support in RISC OS 6 currently requires an SA VirtualAcorn running with the ARM7500 core. This will be resolved shortly to allow RISC OS 6 to have 8Mb of VRAM on any VirtualAcorn.

Many thanks for the quick response.
The clock problem is now fixed; finger trouble here I'm afraid. I look forward to the VRAM fix.

Jolly good. I am glad the clock problem is fixed. We will be looking at the VRAM issue once we have done some more work on the Mac version.
