Hi,
I have installed VRPC on an HP laptop for my parents, and they are telling me that whenever they type characters into writable icons they are being doubled up, so 'Hello World' is displayed as 'HHeelloo WWoorrlldd'.
Has anyone else seen this happen? I know it is happening in an app that is using the Toolbox modules?
Any help would be appreciated, so I can fix it when I next visit them.
TIA
Gav.

Sorry, but we would need a lot more information before even guessing at the problem. So...
What (all?) RISC OS apps have the problem?
What version of Windows?
Is the VRPC up to date?
What type of keyboard?
Is Windows OK or does the problem also show up there as well?

I had hoped this may have been a simple case of...
'Oh yes that sounds like .... to fix it do this ...',
but obviously not.
I think the best option would be for me to 'borrow' the laptop for a bit and have a good play with it and report back when I know some more.
Thanks for the help.
Gav.
