When I plug my pen drive in and click on DrivePop, the pointer freezes for perhaps 10 seconds. When it is able to move again no mouse clicks work. Not only that but I can't do an <alt><Break> nor a <shift><ctrl><f12>. The only thing which works is <ctrl><alt><delete>.
This behaviour has not been apparent in the past, though it is weeks since I used the pen under RISC OS so I cannot say when the behaviour changed. The pen works just fine on the PC side.

What drive letter does the Pen drive normally have?
DrivePop can scan any drive letter from A to Z: So if (for example) you have it set up to scan Drive E - and Drive E is a CD drive with a CD in then there may be a pause whilst the CD spins up.

Thanks for your prompt response, Aaron. It's all my fault as it turns out. At some stage (and I can't remember when) I'd unintentionally ticked Drives A and B in the Options window. Unticking them has fixed the problem.
