Since setting my mouse menu button to 'Dashboard', in full screen mode which I normally use, the three mouse buttons work fine, exactly as on a real RISC OS computer.
However, whilst trying to track down the cause of the lack of printing, I have used window mode a lot more. Unfortunately, when in window mode, even if the VRPC screen has input focus, the menu button activates 'Dashboard' in OS X not the menu in VRPC that you wanted! Therefore in window mode you simply cannot get any menu in RISC OS which is inconvenient to say the least.
I assume this is a bug that needs correcting? Are you aware of it?

We are aware of it. If you are going to run VRPC in a window then it's worth altering the VRPC mouse configuration so that right clicks give you Menu rather than Adjust.
