I've installed the new version 1 release and installed everything I want on it but when it comes to Impression Publisher I failed. I did manage to get it working on beta2 but failed to find out how or why it started to work.
I have overcome this problem by swopping the HD files so I am now using the HD file from beta 2 with the version 1 application.
Is this OK or is there anything I am not aware of in the application, boot sequence or elsewhere that I could mess up by doing this.

You shouldn't really mix Beta and release components.
It's easy enough to get Impression to run on a VirtualRPC. You will need to install Imperssion itself and also !CCShared and CMYKPal into the !System directory.

Thanks Aaron, it was CMYKPal that was missing, !CCShared was installed OK. I don't know why this happens. My Impression software is on floppies which makes it not the easiest reinstallation.
I was worried about mixing the components so now it works I have gone back to the right one so hopefully all will be well now.
