Has anyone managed to get this version of FireFox to run under VRPC on a Mac?

I have VRPC-AdjustSA for Mac running on a MacBook Pro with the latest version of MacOS (Snow Leopard). I downloaded FireFox Version: 2.0.0.20-1 from http://www.riscos.info/index.php/RISC_OSpackages/Browser ... ml#firefox After unzipping the package, I copied the FireFox application into the directory where NetSurf also resides (I have Tinct and SharedUnixLibrary installed ... which are also required by Netsurf). However, when I double-click on the FireFox application, nothing happens ... except that an entry is created in Mozilla.Firefox.Choices, but no FireFox window opens.

Does anyone have a solution?

I've had a similar experience and have given up on FireFox as I've never had any version working properly. You could try asking Peter Naulls, but I doubt you will get a great deal of help.

I can only suggest going back to the older RiscPC builds

Someone else suggested trying the RiscPC version. They also reported that on the Mac stderr reports a segmentation fault ... whatever that is.

I've no idea why FireFox is so difficult to get working, or why it produces the errors it does (or indeed why it doesn't produce any errors at all but refuses to load).
