An update to Mac OS X lion sometime late last week seems to have thoroughly buggered up the VirtualAcorn installers. If you try and install VirtualRPC onto a Mac with an up to date version of Mac OS X Lion then the installers will report and error and quit just before they start copying files. We are investigating this to find the solution. In the meantime I have just uploaded a document into the Support section of the main VirtualAcorn website that covers a work round:

Yours was the first one, but a few others have followed along behind. I'm still not 100% sure what Apple have done to suddenly prevent our installers from working

The lack of an ability to merge folders (without a third party add on) in Mac OS X doesn't help the situtation much.
