I would like to set my VA5000 to start up in 1024x768 screen mode. But I can't work out how with the new !Boot it has. I can find the Screen section of the Config utility, but it needs a mode number. And, in any case, this utility requires me to save a config file somewhere, and I don't know where best to save it to avoid clashing with the other config files supplied.

I have (I think) found the right file in !Boot (!Boot.Choices.Tasks.Boot.Modeset), but I don't know the mode number to use in this either! Plus, with DeskCtrl running, I don't know how to find the mode number having set it from there.

The new Boot seems to have dispensed with the whole idea of saving a desktop Boot file from the Task menu, with its functions taken over by a whole set of configuration files. Is this correct?

You need to set the screenmode in the Modeset file, a list of the
common resolutions is in the support section of our website
