I've sucessfully installed VA5000 under wine but the previous DirectInput problems are present still in the wine 12122003 build.

is it possible to downgrade va5000 to 1.30 as mine installs 1.40 by default?

Sorry, I can't think of a way of downgrading. I don't have any V 1.3
CDs, perhaps it might be worth asking on the
newsgroups in case anyone has an old version you can buy.

Presumably, because the OP has a VA5000 licence, there would be no problem supplying an earlier version without their having to buy it? There are none of the extra problems linked to RO4...
