Is VA5000 compatible with XP SP2, as I shall be updating my system from XP Pro SP1 to XP Pro SP2 over the coming weeks

If not compatible, will a patch be made available?

Also, can I upgrade to VRPC-SE, if so, how much?

I'm running VA5000 on a Dell laptop with XP Pro and SP2 installed and it runs very well. The only problem I've found is on closing down VA5000 if I've previously had an error message during that session AND if I've still got something on the RAM disc - in that case, VA5000 freezes. The mouse stops responding and the keyboard only reponds to ALT-ENTER so when you close it it asks you if you really want to quit. You can then close and restart and it runs fine again. I don't regard this as a big problem. I don't access the net via A5000 so I can't comment on the effect of the new windows firewall in SP2.

Might be something to do with the new WF and WSC, but as those wll be disabled on my PC (as i use McAfee Firewall, VirusScan, and SecurityCenter), I may not have the same issue, but will take note just in case, and report back any problems
