I am trying to unistall virtuala5000 before doing some repairs to my computer. I went to add/remove programs and two items appeared: a5000, and the boot upgrade to a5000. I unistalled the latter first with no problems, but then could not uninstall a5000 itself -- it looks like the unistall file was deleted in the first procedure. Any problem with manually deleting a5000 or will there be any residual problems in the registry (I am running it on XP professional). My thanks to anyone who can help.

As far as I know VA5000 does not put anything in Registry. I've deleted it manually in the past and not had any bother. Just have to make sure you get rid of the appropriate folder from Prog files and from the Start Menu. You should then be able to reinstall if so desired
