Is there any way to increase the memory that Virtualacorn grabs on startup.
Regards JV

Yes, this is covered in an Appendix in the User Guide.

Hi
Just had a look at the Model.cfg file to increase the amount of memory.
In the manual it says there are two groups of lines that can be modified, which are:
[RAM]
base=0x10000000
size = 16m
[RAM]
base=0x14000000
size = 16m
But in my file there is only one line:
[Ram]
base = 0x10000000
size = 32Mb
Is it ok to increase this to 128m

If you have only one memory bank then you have a RISC OS Adjust version of VirtualRPC. This single bank can be set to a maximum of 256Mb, so 128Mb is fine.
Note that you should never allocate more than 50% of the RAM in your PC to VirtualRPC. i.e. to allocate 256Mb, you need to have at least 512Mb.
