Hi, when I had a real Archimedes years ago I used to use Basicedit all the time. But now I can't remeber how to get into it! I have the basicedit rm on my disc images, and I can remember that I have to

*RMLOAD BASICEDIT

to get the program into memory ... but I can't remember the command to start it. Is it 'Edit' or something like that?

Just drag your BASIC files to the RISC OS text editor (!Edit) on the iconbar. Very early versions of !Edit under RISC OS 2 couldn't understand BASIC. Later on !Edit was updated to handle BASIC and the old BASICEDIT editor was retired.

If you still want to use BASICEDIT then a *help BASICEDIT might help.
