Hi there :)
I have forgotten how to find the mac address on my Risc PC.
I want to network it with VA /my iMac through a router which needs to know this.
Thanks for letting me know :-)

Sorry, but I don't know how you retrieve this from a RiscPC :(
Someone on the comp.sys.acorn.networking newsgroup will know.

I found a note I made at some stage. To extract the mac address go to the command line (F12) and enter: *ifconfig -a
Various informations will appear, among these the mac address of the network card.

Useful :)

On a VRPC, it does not give the mac address (why should it :? ),
but it does give the ipaddress - which I have been looking for.
