There have been a number of problems with the latest versions of GhostScript and TechWriter reported by VirtualAcorn users. This problem has been tracked down to a patch in the RISC OS boot sequence that is designed to allow older versions of iSV products software to run on RISC OS 4 and above.
APDL, who now own iSV products, have kindly supplied us with a new patch that has been tested and resolves the problem. This new patch will shortly be included in all VirtualAcorn builds.
Existing users can download an upgrade that install a new version of the patch from the downloads section of the VirtualAcorn website.
