I have been trying to search on Google for RiscOS applications, such as !Edit
Google always seems to ignore the leading pling (!)
I have tried "!Edit" and even \!Edit - all to no avail.
Anybody know how to do it? (or do I need to get Google to get their act together ).

For this sort of poser, we suggest entering (say) "risc os edit" which refines the search dramatically. HTH.

Nope. I've noticed this before... and given up on plings
As toms says, you can normally get what you want by just adding "risc os" (or even "risc") to the search phrase, though I've never tried with a word as common as "Edit"!
