I use my Alpha primarily with a wireless network card.

In general all VRPC networking appears to be fine through the wireless connection, with the exception of LanMan98.

LM98 works perfectly well through the cabled connection, but if I disconnect the cable, and attempt to access a remote share via wireless, I am greeted with the error: 'Can't assign requested address'!

I thought that it might be something to do with the cabled network connection being the first interface initialised, but if I set that interface to disabled in the Windows Control Panel, VRPC refuses to work with the original software key.

(Incidentally, VRPC also rejects the software key if the software bridge is turned on in the Windows Control Panel!)

Can anyone help me to get LM98 working through my wireless network? I prefer to use LM98 rather than HostFS, since there are issues with filetypes/extensions when connecting to SmbServer shares.

You will need a later version of the network plugin. I guess you
downloaded the current one from the site, in which case it has had
a few more changes.

Wait a few days and download the network upgrade again and that
should hopefully fix it.

So, this is a rcognised restriction in the current plugin, and it will be fixed in the next release? That's great news - thanks!
