Subject says it all really

Have been running VARPC-SE, for nearly 5 months without problem, on my MD Alpha, I downloaded and installed the Network upgrade a few days ago, since then RISC OS reports only 18 - 20 Mb free memory at startup, as opposed to 128 Mb prior to the upgrade, is this a significant fact, ie does the upgrade really use 108 Mb of memory, or has something gone wrong in the emulation?

Everything else appears to function correctly, by the way.

I've a similar problem. New machine/install though

on a 512Mb machine RISC OS only has 32Mb! Even on my RISC PC's I have 64Mb+ so 32Mb is a bit limiting.

After some guess work I've found a few files at
C:\Program Files\VirtualAcorn\VirtualRPC-SE\Models\Arm7 RISC OS 4 (JIT)
The one called model.cfg seems to be the location of the options.

Opening this in notepad shows a couple of size=16Mb lines under two differant [Ram] headings.

I suspect changing these two will increase the memory, but I'd rather not experiment as VirtualRPC is rather flakey already! (ifconfig is broken, time is stuck 4 hours in the past etc)

Why guess? It's all documented in the manual.

That's it. Worked for me.
