Right, since I like an unclutered desktop once I had VRPC running as I liked plus using Select I decided to clear the desktop icons of !Paint and !Draw along with the manual etc.

But now I can't find !Paint or !Draw - ie they are not listed in 'Apps.'

Of course I know they are part of the ROM Set - at least they used to be and I know that if I want to see a Sprite I can double click on it. However when I do that !Paint doesn't start up - !ChangeFSI starts up.

So I would like to get the !Paint and !Draw desktop shortcuts back or have them appear in the Apps folder - 12years with Acorns and I can't sort it out!

Anyone tell me how before I email support?

This is a Select issue, not a VirtualAcorn one. I don't have a working Select installation to hand at the moment (I am not in the office), have you tried asking on the Select mailing list?

I had to put the Apps folder from select disc onto my harddisc copy of Apps to work...

I have put !Draw and !Paint for Select into Apps.

They have both re-appeared on the Desktop.

Both give errors when clicked on.

!Draw 'File '''z' not found

!Paint 'aZ' not found

Any ideas. I'll email Select in the New Year if still stuck.

It might be worth re-installing Select
