Has anyone managed to get Oregano1 to perform HTTP fetches over the network?

I can get it to render local files from disc, but any attempt to fetch remote files appears to be met with a
HTTPStream_Status returned 'Invalid Session ID'
message.

Webster and the O2 demo are working fine.

No, unfortunately not and Browse doesn't work either. Did anybody
manage to get it to work unter RISC OS 4 or Select?

Yes, when using Nutmeg or ImageProxy as proxyserver Oregano-1 works OK, although significantly slower than Oregano-2 (full version). Without Nutmeg I get the same error message as the others.
I am running thelatest Select (4.37).

And yes, I managed to get !Browse working as well! But it only works on its own, !Webserve is not working.

Cheers,
Frits

That Oregano-1 will work with a proxy gave me an idea. I installed and ran 'FreeProxy' on the Windows side - Oregano-1 seems to work well this way except HTTPS - FreeProxy fetches them, Oregano say's it is fetching but displays nothing.

Further testing with FreeProxy/Oregano-1 & HTTPS, shows it's only some secure fetches that are not being displayed - if I fetch the same pages with IE6 thru FreeProxy they display fine - still having Oregano working as well as it does is a bonus.

Download the latest update from the downloads section of the website, this should fix problems with Webserve and Webjames.
