My notebook (Acer TravelMate 800 or something like that) has a middle mousebutton on its touchpad that is some kind of a cursor, 4 arrows in one button. I can configure those buttons in an app from Acer.

I configured it to let 'up arrow' mean the middle mouse button. It does not seem to work in VRPC. The real mouse its middle button does work as expected. The left button and right button on the touchpad also work. Anybody knows why I cannot get the middle mouse button to work via this touchpad?

Cheers,
Jan-Jaap

It depends on how the trackpad works. DirectInput (as used by Virtual Acorn) gets into the keyboard stack at quite a low level. If your Trackpad installs a service which injects keyboard events above DirectInput then those keypresses are unlikely to be seen.
