I am currently trying to come to grips with VARPC. My RPC is still 3.7.
One indispensable program I use on it is !Finance by Colin Solloway. Its author says he's never used it above RO 3.7 but I asked various people to try it on RO 4 and it worked without any bother. When I try to run it on VARPC-SE I get the message "...aborted because there is not enough system memory. Increase..., etc".I've played around with the Task Manager but can't seem to make any difference (being old and utterly non-techie.

Aaron has also tested it without trouble, but doesn't know why
I'm having difficulty and has suggested I try the ngs.

If anyone has any suggestions I'd be most grateful.

I just had a silly thought, try altering the memory allocated to the NEXT slot in the task manager before running !Finance. Try 640K to start with, then try 1024K, that might help.
