Sometimes, when you get a new version of a programme (in my case an update of Easiwriter) you are told to update the system by merging the one on the CD with the one in the computer.
Are you supposed to do this with VA or does it cause problems?
Having crashed the whole thing once with a conflicting programme -leading to "a remove the whole VA package and start again from scratch!" - I'm a bit wary of doing anything to the system etc!
Any ideas?

The !System supplied with VRPC is quite up to date, I would suggest installing the program (without adding new !System components) and seeing if it works OK.
