Get the following error on trying to upgrade...
Unknown version for F:/Program Files/VirtualRPC-SE/HardDisc4/!Boot/Utils/Version.txt
Any ideas ?

Do you have a fairly recent version of VRPC-SE ? Maybe your serial number is higher thean 11257 ?
I could be wrong but I think you get an error of this kind if you try to apply an upgrade if either you don't need it or you've already applied it.

Actually scratch that.... Just got exact same error myself and my Serial no. is well below 11257. However being a bit of a dabbler I've discovered a workround. Using windows explorer navigate to the version.txt file mentioned and rename it to oldversion.txt. The installer will then create you another version.txt and all will be well. Worked for me anyway

Sorry, it looks like my mistake. I've uploaded a new version of the upgrade, as of 11:21am on Sunday the 28th of August, which hopefully won't complain

Redownloaded from this site, and still got error
So I did what JohnVA did, and it upgraded fine
