After the screen saver has been active, bringing up the VRPC window results in a DirectX related error of "Failed to create primary surface", and will no longer display anything in the window, rendering the session useless and losing all work.
This is with VRPC-SE 1.3 on XP-SP2, using a 256MB ATI Radion X600 graphics card with the XP 3DFlowerPot screen saver. Bug first reported around 6 months ago - any progress?

I've still been unable to reproduce the fault on the machines here. Both have been running the flowerbox screensaver for some time with no problems. I would suggest the following:
Check and update drivers for the graphics card.
Try a different screen saver.
Turn off hardware acceleration for screen saver.
How did you get on with the CallWin32 and MouseSycn.dll combo I sent you?

The problem with the screen saver hasn't reoccurred using the non 3D ones, such as blank & mystify.
The callwin32 and mousesync dlls you sent have behaved themselves so far today.
