I have used a parallel hard drive for file backup on the 'real' riscos machine. Anyone know if the drive can be made to work on VA - SE? My PC does have a parallel port. Not the most efficient storgage method but could be a really good to transfer instead of one floppy full at a time.

Sorry, the short answer is no, you can't use the parallel port drive with VirtualRPC. Your best bet would be to network the 'real' Acorn machine and your PC, then you can transfer files via ShareFS.
