In the past I have had no problem uploading an avatar as part of my profile on forums such as this. But I keep getting the message that it can't find the temporary file and to check my php settings. (Even after reading about php and phpbb I am not much wiser as to what these are, or why I need to have them.) Is this some new restriction on image upload?

It might be caused by the update of the forum system last year. Thanks for spotting this, I'll take a look when I get a chance.

Tried again to upload Avatar, but still getting the php message above.

Sorry I still haven't had a chande to take a look at the avatar settings.
