Installed VRPC-SE without any problems.
Installed apps without problems.
So great thanks to all those responsible for this neat bit 'O kit.

As I'm Select subscriber I thought I'd have a go at upgrading from 4.02 to 4.37, The install went okay, and VRPC-SE runs okayish, but there are a few noticable problems.

The floppy drive will not read ADFS F disks anymore.

The shutdown window that gives the choice of Re-running RO or exiting to Windows doesn't appear, and we're left with a RO (Logo) reboot window.

I've reverted to 4.02 for the time being until...

Anyone have any ideas please?

Cheers
Dave S

Re my previous posting about upgrading the supplied 4.02 to a Select version, and that the floppy doesn't work, reporting "Disk Drive is empty"

This is a bug/feature of some sort and I've sorted a temporary work around for it.

As this poxy forum format doesnt support pasting in, I'm certainly not going to rewrite my notes here manually.

If anyone is intrested, contact me by email.

As an aside... how, and to whom does one report bugs.

Dave S

If you start up VirtualRPC-SE with a floppy in the drive,
it will then read discs OK. We are investigating this and
at the moment we don't know if its a Select issue or a
VirtualAcorn issue.

I've also aded Select.

When I come to shut-down I click menu on the 'cog' which takes me to the 'ready to shut-down' splash screen.

I then press ALT - Enter to see VRPc in a window then I click on the top left 'File' button and select End.

Regards, Dave C.
