Recovering files from a RISC OS format hard disc can be easy or difficult. If the hard disc is still inside the Acorn computer and the computer still works then things are fairly easy. If the Acorn computer is broken you will still be able to find out what interface was used to control the hard disc. You may even be able to purchase a second hand Acorn computer of the same type and move the interface and hard disc to the second machine. If you only have the hard disc itself it may be very difficult to recover the failes. Data recovery is a complex subject.
