Problems reading the VirtualAcorn CD

Remove the VirtualAcorn CD from your PC and check to see if it has any physical damage. Small scratches shouldn't matter but deep scratches can prevent a CD being read. You can buy CD polishing machines that can remove most scratches. High Street computer games shops can often polish CDs for a small fee.

If the CD is cracked then it will need to be replaced. Don't put it into any optical drive as it might fly apart and cause damage/injury.
