Stuttering MouseIf you are running your Windows copy of VirtualRPC using Parallels you may find that the RISC OS mouse moves in 64 pixel 'jumps' instead of moving correctly. This fault is caused by the Parallels mouse driver incorrectly providing mouse data to DirectX, you will need to contact Parallels and obtain a later mouse driver. If you are using a Windows PC the most likely cause is that VirtualAcorn isn't getting enough CPU cycles because another task is claiming them. It's also possible that there is a fault with the PCs sound drivers but this mainly effects Windows XP. Follow the instructions contained in this support article to diagnose and fix the fault. Did following these instructions solve the problem? |
