Serial and Parallel ports

VirtualAcorn products do not support access to either the Serial or Parallel ports. Modern versions of Windows (Windows XP or later) don't allow direct access to hardware in the same way as we would need. In addition modern PCs don't include either Parallel or Serial interface hardware as Firewire and USB have replaced them. This all makes support for Parallel and Serial RISC OS devices uneconomic.

So, we are sorry but you will not be able to use your item of hardware and it's associated software under RISC OS using VirtualAcorn.
