Problem with mouse buttonsA number of different situations can cause problems with the mouse buttons in RISC OS. The most common problem is for clicks on the center mouse button (Menu) to be 'ignored' by RISC OS. If you have a Windows Menu key on your keyboard (third key to the right of space on a standard desktop keyboard) try pressing it to see if it opens menus in RISC OS. If it does then the fault is with the Windows mouse driver not correctly providing mouse clicks to DirectX.If your mouse is a standard scroll mouse check how it's connected to your PC. If it's a USB device connected to a PS2 socket with an adapter this will be the cause. Connect the mouse directly to the PC via USB and see if that resolves the problem. If you mouse is made by Logitec or is a Microsoft intellimouse fixing the fault is described in this support article. Did following these instructions solve the problem? |
