Recovering a "lost" unlock code

If you have lost your written copy of your unlock code then it can easily be recovered, provided VirtualRPC is operating normally.

Quit VirtualRPC if it is loaded and go to the My Computer icon. Go to C:\Program Files\VirtualAcorn\VirtualRPC-xxx and then double click on VA.cfg. If Windows does not know what to do with the file choose to open it using a program selected from a list, and choose NotePad. The configuration file will now load. Read down the file until you find the Licensekey entry. This is your unlock code, write it down somewhere safe.

If this entry is not in the file then you have lost your unlock code and will need to contact VirtualAcorn or the supplier of your machine as they will have a copy.
