Updated components for RISC OS 6 Downloads

This page contains links to downloadable component updates for all versions of VirtualRPC for users running versions of RISC OS 6 as supplied by RISCOS.com.

Please note that the updates on this page are supplied as RISC OS format .ZIP files. You will need to download the particular .ZIP file, either from inside VirtualAcorn (using a RISC OS browser) or using a browser on your host computer. If you are downloading these files from outside VirtualAcorn then you will need to copy them into the VirtualAcorn "HardDisc4" folder before opening them. The "HardDisc4" folder can be found in:

Windows
C:\Program Files\VirtualAcorn\VirtualRPC-xxxx\HardDisc4

Mac OS X
Macintosh HardDisc\Applications\VitualAcorn\VirtualRPC-xxxx\HardDisc4

If you try and open these .zip files from Windows or Mac OS X the RISC OS filetpyes will be lost. So only open them with RISC OS.

AccessSet Version 1.40
This new version of AccessSet is designed for RISC OS 6.

This new version of DrivePop is designed for RISC OS 6.

• Has an updated AIF header suitable for RISC OS 6 so it can be run with compatibility settings reduced.
• No longer polls the WIMP constantly whilst idle.
• Only suitable for StrongARM VirtualAcorns.
